DeJesus Dental Taking Emergency Dental Appointments During COVID-19 Crisis

Apr 29, 2020

Good hygiene practices are something you should strive to keep up, no matter what is happening in the world. But during challenging times, like the COVID-19 crisis, increased stress can make it easier to fall out of your daily hygiene habits. If you have found yourself with a painfully impacted tooth, an infection, or any other oral ailment that requires immediate dental attention, do not panic! DeJesus Dental is taking emergency dental appointments during the COVID-19 crisis.

We Take Your Safety Seriously

For more than 25 years, DeJesus Dental Group has gone the extra mile to make sure your oral health is a priority. And although we are already known for having a pristinely clean environment, we are still operating with an abundance of caution to prevent the potential spread of any disease.

Preventative Measures We Are Taking:

  • Opening in shifts
  • Limiting staff when and where it is possible
  • No waiting rooms- instead, patients are being brought in and out through separate entrances
  • Our team is taking mandatory hand washing breaks every 30 minutes
  • We take our staff’s temperatures upon arrival at the office

Above all, we continue to follow the rules of the Connecticut State Dental Association and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

The Effects of COVID-19

As a whole, the scientific community has made immense leaps in discovery about the Coronavirus (COVID-19) in a short amount of time. We practice the most up-to-date methods of prevention and cleanliness as standard protocol. Our team is closely monitoring the latest news and updates from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) daily.

We ask if you have experienced any symptoms of COVID-19, or have recently been in contact with someone who is or was infected, please let us know before coming into the office.

COVID-19 Symptoms Include:

  • Fever
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath, or difficulty breathing
  • Chills
  • Repeated shaking with chills
  • Muscle aches and pains
  • Headache
  • Sore Throat
  • A new loss of taste and smell

At DeJesus Dental Group, we prioritize the health of our patients and our staff above everything else.
