At DeJesus Dental Group, we have carefully selected a highly trained team of dental care professionals at both our Bridgeport/Trumbull Line and Shelton offices. Alongside our team of doctors, our staff want to make you feel welcome and taken care of when visiting us. Our team loves what they do, and not only will they help you receive fast accurate dental care, but they will also help you feel relaxed and welcome.
Maria
Office Manager
Maria has been with DeJesus Dental Group since its inception over 21 years ago. She started out as a lead assistant and became the office manager more than 17 years ago. Maria oversees all aspects of the offices including patient services, staff and practice growth. Maria prides herself in building lasting relationships and looks forward to helping all of our wonderful patients obtain the smiles they deserve! It’s clear when you meet Maria, that she loves her position at the office and is very proud of such an awesome team. When not at work Maria enjoys cooking and long walks on the beach with her husband and children!
Maria, the dental office manager, has helped DeJesus Dental Group provide friendly dental care for 20 years. She talks about the close team at DeJesus Dental Group, and how the practice is a family-like environment. The practice is also expanding to include another location and a dental assisting school.
HYGIENISTS
Betsy
Registered Dental Hygienist, BS
Betsy was raised in the Dominican Republic; she graduated from Fones School of Dental Hygiene in 2016. The first school of Dental Hygiene! She has a Rhodesian Ridgeback dog named Tyson. She loves to take him to Lake Mohegan and go hiking with him. She also loves being part of this amazing team and helping patients in their healthy smile transformation and changing their lives.
Samantha
Registered Dental Hygienist, BS
Samantha is one of our talented dental hygienists who works hard through every patient appointment to ensure that you are comfortable, happy, and healthier than when you stepped into our office! She earned her degree from Fones School of Dental Hygiene, University of Bridgeport. Samantha loves educating our patients and being a part of our practice, which feels like family! When she is away from the office, Samantha enjoys being outside and having fun with her kids.

Dental Assistant
Susan has been a dental assistant since 1992. Before that, she worked at the front desk.
She loves working with patients and enjoys seeing their excitement when they have a new smile.
Susan is married and has two boys. She enjoys being with them, and she is also active with her church.

Lucy
Financial Assistant
Lucy has been a part of our DeJesus Dental Group staff since 1996. As our financial assistant, she helps to be sure you understand all of your financial options so that you can get the care you need. Lucy loves being able to help patients figure out their finances and get their health back on track. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and grandchildren. Lucy is fluent in Portuguese.
Thiara
Public Relations
Thiara has been working at DeJesus Dental Group since 2014. As the person who brings in new patients, Thiara loves that she can tell our future patients that we truly care about their health and well-being. Every patient is treated with love and care from every staff member, and that’s exciting news to share! When she is not busy working for DeJesus Dental Group, Thiara enjoys spending time with her family. Thiara is fluent in Portuguese.
