Toddler Happy Visits

Getting your child to the dentist early on will impress upon him or her that oral care and regular dental visits are a part of life. For this reason, we are proud to offer DeJesus Dental Toddler Happy Visits. During this short visit to one of our offices, our dentist or hygienist will greet your child outside to establish some rapport with them. Then they will bring them to one of the dental chairs to play a game of “let’s count your teeth” to involve them in the process. While we are not pediatric dentists, we can often plan a Happy Visit to coincide with your existing adult or adolescent dental appointment, if scheduled properly.

When Should My Child Go To The Dentist?

A child’s first dental appointment should occur when the first tooth appears or at their first birthday, whichever comes first. We’ll help you walk through the early phases of caring for baby teeth through complete oral hygiene as they lose their first tooth and permanent replacements grow. It’s our goal to make sure you and your child are comfortable. Finding a family dentist should be a top priority for your family.
