Getting a same day emergency appointment
We keep a handful of urgent care dental appointments strictly for emergencies at both of our dental offices. These appointments are offered on a first come, first served basis for anyone needing emergency dental care. Not a current patient of DeJesus Dental Group, but would like to come to our office anyway? Even if you are not a patient of record, we will still see you and you can return to your regular dental office for follow up if need be.
At home pain relief
Here are some common remedies to try at home to tide you over until you can get to the dentist:
- Warm salt water swishes. Fill a cup with about 8oz of warm water and add 1/2 teaspoon of salt; mix until salt dissolves and swish gently and spit it out.
- Over-the-counter pain relievers such as Ibuprofen can take down some of the inflammation.
- A cold compress on the side of your cheek where the pain is can also reduce swelling.
